This is the web site of pewtersmith Colin Hamer. Colin passed away at the age of 85, in July 2025. He worked right up to the end, so there are still some pieces available to purchase.

Colin made a wide variety of pewter pieces, mostly hollowware such as vases, tea pots and wine goblets. You can view what items are available here. While Colin was an excellent pewtersmith, he was not much of a businessman and so did not have any online shopping cart nor electronic method of payment. If you are interested in purchasing any of his remaining work contact us using this form.
We can ship by Canada Post or UPS, and given your location and postal code, can calculate your shipping cost from Ottawa, Ontario. The prices are in Canadian dollars and there is no HST.
His studio was at his home in Ottawa, and his remaining work may be seen by appointment.
